Michelle Dowdall, PA-C
Physician Assistant

Michelle Dowdall is a certified Physician Assistant who received her training at Western Michigan University. She received a Master’s Degree in the Science of Medicine and completed her PA training in 2000. Prior to this, she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois.

Michelle has worked with spine specialist, Dr. Paul Suh, since 2002. She sees patients in both clinic and hospital settings. Also, she assists Dr. Suh in many of the surgeries he performs. Prior to her current position, Michelle worked in the departments of Neurosurgery and Otolaryngology at the Durham VA Hospital.

Born and raised in Chicago, Michelle has called North Carolina home since 2000. She currently lives in Chapel Hill with her husband, Vernon. 


Jessica E. Jarosz, PA-C
Physician Assistant

Jessica E. Jarosz, PA-C received both her Bachelors and Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania.  Her main focus is in general orthopaedics and sports medicine.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Jessica has been an integral part of OSNC since joining the team in 2006.  She practices in both the Wake Forest and Henderson offices and assists with surgical cases at Duke Raleigh Hospital, WakeMed North Campus, and Franklin Regional Medical Center.  She also works directly with the OSNC sports medicine team and provides game coverage for several local high schools.

Jessica is licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board and is certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Certifying Commission of Physician Assistants.  She is a member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants.


Kenneth Ramsauer, PA-C
Physician Assistant

Originally from Bronx, NY, Kenneth graduated from Manhattan College and received his Masters in Physician Assistant Science from Marywood University in Scranton, PA.

Prior to joining Orthopaedic Specialists if North Carolina in 2006, Kenneth served as a Consultant to both St. John's Radiology Associates and Konica Medical Imaging as well as Director of Radiology for Riverside Health Care Systems in New York.

Married with one daughter, Kenneth is a father, sports fan and athlete. Having played organized baseball for ten years including one season with the Huntington Cubs, single A affiliate to the Chicago Cubs of major league baseball, he also spent a year coaching under pitching coach Mel Stottlemyre. His education, training and personal athletic experience make him an invaluable part of the OSNC Sports Medicine team.

Kenneth is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and the American Academy of Radiologic Technologist. He is affiliated with the Amercian Academy of Physician Assistants, the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants and the Physicians Assistants of Orthopaedic Surgery.
